STAR TREK (TM): STARSHIP CREATOR Preview Version 1. About this Preview 2. Installation 3. Quick Start Tips 4. Support 1. About this Preview_______________________________________ Welcome to this Demonstration of Starship Creator. With it you can log in as a Starfleet Admiral to create your own versions of official Federation starships and run them in simulated missions to test your designs. All your designs will be automatically saved, as will the outcome reports from your missions. Naturally, since this is a demonstration created during development of the final product, some of the things you can do here are limited. Only one of the vessel classes (Galaxy) is available for building. Two simple missions are available to you. (You need to change your experience level on the Options screen to find both of them.). The demo missions are pre-set to run faster than real- time. Certain of the sound features are disabled. Here and there other interface features may be disabled. You'll hear a special sound if you try to activate them. In the full version (see ordering info below), you get: * 7 classes of Starships to choose from (Galaxy, Constitution, Excelsior, Sovereign, Defiant, Intrepid, Miranda) * You can print out two views of your ships, as well as all of its system stats. * There will be twenty missions (not two), and you will be able to write your own, or import a friendÕs. * You will be able to import your own picture and bios Ð make your friends and family the crew of your ship! * Run missions together with a friend over a local area network or modem to modem! 2.
